    THE US OPEN IS COMING

    Saturday, February 3, 2007, 08:04 AM [General]

I have decided to give the US Open a shot.  The last couple of weeks, I started practicing on almost a daily basis, especially trying to work on my spare game.  I am going in with a very open mind, and a postive attitude.  If I can make the casher's round, I will be happy, and I will finally get to join the PBA.  If not, I know I gave it a try--which makes me better than the house hacks that didn't.  And to those house hacks, talk is cheap.  At least I'm bowling the event!

Hey Tommy, Hows it going? The US Open used to be out here in Fountain Valley, and i've bowled it a few times. A word to the wise, you need to play deep inside and stay away from the 7 board out (OB). 4th and 5th arrow shot all day and night, turning into a 6th arrow shot LOL.... Wow i just realized you left this comment on Feb of 07. oops lol oh well how did ya bowl??

    Tommy,
I want to wish you luck on pursuing your entry into the U.S. Open. I also know Mike Mineman and I would like to extend my offer tohelp you in any way I can. I am unemployed right now and if there is anything you need such as a stats guy during your run to the top let me know. I know that is a small thing but when you are talking about the PBA tour and wanting to be competing with Tommy Jones, Pete Weber, Norm Duke, and everyone else..It takes everything you have. I would love to be there when you do it. Let me know if your interested in my invitation.
